  • You've seen what we can do and would like to make a video of your own. To get started, enter your details into the contact page or you can speak to us directly using the pop up chat at the bottom right of your screen. We would love to hear any ideas, themes or concepts you might have, so we can turn what's in your head into a reality. A link to the song you wish to use would also be helpful, as we can have a listen and start coming up with some great ideas of our own. Not to worry if your a little stuck for ideas, as we're thinking masters and will throw plenty of them at you until your satisfied! Once we have the perfect idea for your song we can begin talking about the budget. We can also setup a meeting through Skype for that personal touch.

  • The budget will decide what's going to be possible in the video. Although we pride ourselves on being able to produce expensive looking videos for a fraction of what they should cost, certain things will add to your production costs. For instance a heavily story boarded video with multiple locations will cost more than a simple performance. Bigger budgets will allow for more detail to be put into post production such as advanced effects and computer generated media. It would also open up real world awesomeness such as pyrotechnics, wind machines and crazy lighting, to name a few! Saying that, the overall quality of the finished product is paramount to us regardless of your budget.

  • As we now have some awesome ideas, we need to find the perfect location. We've been working with a number of different ones over the years and keep adding as we go, so there's plenty to choose from. From woodland areas and derelict buildings to massive aeroplane hangars and green screen studios, we can pretty much cover any look your going for. Some of these places are also free to use which always helps to keep costs down. Of course, if you have your own locations close to home, send us some pictures and we would be more than happy to look into it.

  • Now we've sorted the location and covered the ideas for your video, we need a deposit to make it become a reality. We ask for 50% of the total cost at least a couple weeks before we would begin filming. This allows us officially set a date for the shoot, we can secure the location, rent any props we may need and also keep a week free for editing. The sooner you can give us the deposit, the less we all have to worry. Such as a location falling through due to a last minute request. Now you can start getting excited for your video shoot and tell everyone about it! Post it up on Facebook and be sure to tag us too :)

  • It's the big day! We will contact with you with the times we should meet and what you should bring along. This would include your instruments, back line as well as sorting out anything else you might need. We'll meet at the confirmed location, greet you with a smile and begin to setup our equipment. We'll direct you through the day so you never have to feel like you're lost. Once your equipment has been setup in the desired area, we will play the chosen song back through our PA system. You need to have a lot of energy as we will do multiple takes over the course of the day. The more you put into it, the better it will look! Don't worry, we will take plenty of breaks too! After we're finished we will take the remainder of the payment and move on to the editing process. The most important thing is to have a good time and enjoy yourself.

  • We're now in post production and your footage looks great, of course! We pride ourselves on producing a very high quality edit and follow the ideas of the concept carefully. This is where the footage will be manipulated to the style of video you're after. We complete with full custom colour grading to really make the footage pop. We also edit in a very short time, usual turnaround from the day of shooting is only a week! When we're happy with our results we will upload the video privately for you to give your feedback. If you request any changes, we will sort them out and upload once again. Now you're totally happy, we'll go public with the video and start the views rolling in. We also provide you with a downloadable version to do with as you wish.

  • We work with the networks such as Scuzz and Kerrang, so getting your video on the music channels has never been easier. If you request TV submission we can create the correct files for upload and complete the whole process for you. If you need more information on this, just send us a message.

Dan Sanchez, Cinematographer, founded MetalWasp having always had a passion for video production from an early age. It progressed from a hobby to a business in late 2009, with the aim of providing high quality video services at an affordable price. MetalWasp grew over the years by adding some friendly staff and now exists as a well established company with a strong portfolio. Working with some big artists around the world such as England based Tesseract to Canadian fellows Protest The Hero.

In their time, MetalWasp have also helped relatively unknown bands gain a much wider audience with their videos. Some of which got the chance to play big festivals such as Download and Sonisphere. The videos also gain regular airplay on TV, featuring on channels such as Kerrang, Scuzz and MTV. They also use the latest in DSLR camera technology, combined with powerful editing software and a skilled set of eyes.
